OR-SYSTEM FOR THE NEW FLAGSHIP OF THE FINNISH BORDER GUARD
Last summer Mobimar signed a contract for building an ultramodern oil recovery (OR) system for newbuilding 1385 at the STX Finland Rauma shipyard. The newbuilding will be delivered to the Finnish Border Guard by the end of 2013.
The project UVL10 offshore patrol vessel has been designed by using the latest knowledge of several Finnish governmental authorities. STX Finland's shipbuilding expertise and Aker Arctic's ice laboratory research studies have been mandatory for forming the high demands of the ship.
The oil recovery understanding at Mobimar has been considered important for ensuring the efficiency of the OR system.
